"Like a Good Neighbor..."

I've seen countless portable basketball hoops without nets when I have been in residential neighborhoods. These are the ones in the streets, using rocks or water or sand for ballast. I always felt that our mission was taking care of the hoops at elementary schools, middle schools, etc. Plus, it seemed like I was infringing-personal property and all. I was helping my wife check out a house and there they were. Two portable hoops, one without a net and the other might as well have been. They were in a cul-de-sac. I didn't even have my ladder, so fixing the problem(s) was not possible. I did, however, have nets. So, why don't I just take a net over to each hoop, put it somewhere easy to see and let the owners make the world right again. Great idea...that's what I did.
