Neither rain, nor sleet, nor gloom of night...

Yeah, nobody's even sure if that is the Postal Service motto, but they say nothing about wind. Wind, Las Vegas wind. Facial feature reconstructing wind. Well, not that bad, but how about the inherent dangers of being up on a ladder trying to change the world, I mean, a net, while the wind threatens to blow you into Nye county. You know, I've wanted to check...never mind. But, thrashed around by near hurricane force winds (Hey, I'm the one musing here), my son and I still managed to create "swish" opportunities for anyone wanting to shoot some hoops. My son has the honor of making the first basket on a properly dressed rim and he did so from very close range, lest the wind block his shot and scream, "Not in my house...!!!"
