Drove past this one a few days ago, didn't have all my "tools" or my son with me. As I mentioned previously, Eric is my partner in crime. Durango Hills Park, very nice park with pickleball/tennis courts, big children's play area with that "spongy" material as a surface to play on, even a skateboard/bike park. Next to the YMCA and a golf course, doesn't get much better than that...

However, as nice as that is, if it didn't have a basketball court, it would be just another park that had not reached its full potential for enjoyment by the masses.. My son and I argue over whether something can really be called a park if it does not have the requisite basketball court. I say no, Eric disagrees. Of course, balance of power shifts when the adult is the one that knows the Wi-Fi password..

Full court, with another hoop on one side. Three point line clearly marked and breakaway rims (not that I need to be concerned with "that" anymore). Fences around three sides of court make for less basketball chasing. Lights, for those evening pick-up games, though they stop working when the park closes. Even some benches for just sitting, resting or watching.

Nice facility, glad my son and I were able to add our "touch" to it...
